PF Goes to Tali Beach

Date: March 3-4, 2012

My first summer of 2012 was spent with my beloved girls and our boys – my pretty friends in Tali Beach, Nasugbu, Batangas.

We couldn’t leave anytime earlier than 2Pm because Aimee has duty until 2PM. We just picked her up and went straight to the South. It was a  3 hour drive and by the time we reached the resort, it would already be almost dinner time. We decided to just buy our meals in the market in the town proper before we head to Tali.

We checked in at Jo and Johnny’s. And I was in awe upon seeing their place. I fell in love with it instantly – from their rooms to their common area to their swimming pool to their friendly staff and their WIFI!

After we settled, the boys bought some ice in the nearby store and the girls went to the beach for some girl talk, leaving the boys for their own boy talk!

We ate our dinner in one of the room’s veranda and then transferred at the pool area for our drinking and bonding session.

The next day, we all went the main beach but didn’t like that it was a bit crowded so we ought to go to the other beach that one of the locals told us.

But we changed our mind because we decided to go to the cliff diving area for some adrenaline rush.

Locals told us that it was just near, walking distance maybe. But lo and behold, we couldn’t back out once we realized that we’ve been walking for 30 minutes already. We still continued walking and just anticipated what we could experience. We walked for another 15 minutes and finally reached the site.

It was one of the best feelings ever. FREEDOM at its finest! I didn’t expect myself to jump. But at least I did, or else, I could have regretted it. The long walk we took was really worth it.

Lucky us, there was a group of divers and there’s one guy who’s really a pro in diving. He taught us, encouraged us and stayed at the bottom to look after us as we jump. They also lent us their life vest. There were 3 levels. I only jumped from Level 1. Seska, Aimee, Mon and Bry jumped from Level 3 as well.

The group also let us ride their van going back to our resort so we wouldn’t walk all the way back. Actually, you can really drive your way to the cliff diving spot. The thing is, we didn’t know that it was that far, thanks to the locals who told us that it is near.

We spent the rest of the afternoon by the pool.

until we all started to get hungry and decided to prepare to go home.

We had lunch in a Mang Inasal branch in the town proper.
